Hi, I'm Isabel!

I'm exploring the intersection of psychology, visual design, and learning.

My design journey

Ever since I joined my middle school yearbook staff, I've always had at least one design project on my plate. But it took a while for me to realize I could transform this hobby into a career.

As an undergrad at Haverford College, I studied cognitive psychology and education. When I discovered UX design in my junior year, I was hooked. I could leverage my love for research to improve how people interact with technology and with one another. Since then, I haven't looked back.

What am I up to now?

Now, I'm at UC Berkeley working towards a Masters in Information Management. Here, I'm broadening my design skillset  and dabbling in other fields like natural language processing and AI.

If I'm not in class, I might be...

  • rock climbing

  • reading

  • trying new restaurants

  • crocheting birthday gifts for friends

  • picking up new art forms

A few more projects
I've worked on in the past:
